The Absolute Powerpop Top 100 of 2009, #51-100.

I'm not sure if 2009 was a down year or what, but all I know is that whereas last year I went with a top 125 because there were too many good discs missing out on the top 100, this year I had to struggle to come up with 100. Here's the back half of the top 100, with the top 50 to come tomorrow:

In my opinion, 2009 has definitely been a down year. I don't know if that's simply a completely random occurence, if the better artists didn't release an album this year, or we're beginning a downhill cycle; 2010 will definitely give us a better picture, methinks.
